Fernando
One of the great loves of my life.
My love for him is greater than the universe.
Fernando has been my rock,
My jester,
My knight,
My Buddha,
My teacher,
My best friend,
My nanny,
My guardian angel.
Fernando has been my meditation buddy, my running buddy, my SUP buddy, my tobogganing buddy, my snowshoe buddy, by cuddle buddy, his sisters’ guardian and playmate. He is the only dog brave enough to take on his brother Pablo and keep him in line. When Pablo was ever aggressive to another dog on our walks, Fernando was quick to shout in Pablo’s face to tell him to settle down, listen to me, to behave.
Fernando is like the sun.
He is love.
He radiates love and joy.
Fernando is my boy.
My wolf pup.
Fernando forever.

*Fernando lived for 16 years and one month. He died on December, Friday the 13th, 2024, after a brief but aggressive battle with cancer. He was a light, a warrior until his last breath and he is missed immensely and loved forever. There will never be another Fernando. He was one of a kind.
