My Beautiful baby girl turns fifteen years old today. I have included in this blog, a few photos from her first six months on earth as well as a photo of Mom at nine months pregnant. Also, the following poem I wrote for Mistaya when she was four months old.<\/p>\n

My girl.<\/i><\/div>\n
Sweet pink cheeks, delicate mouth.<\/i><\/div>\n
A clear shimmer glistening on your bottom lip.<\/i><\/div>\n
Waiting to be kissed or to eat.<\/i><\/div>\n

Gently holding your mother.<\/i><\/div>\n
Filling your tummy with warm, sweet milk.<\/i><\/div>\n
Love pouring.<\/i><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n
You sing to me.<\/i><\/div>\n
Listen to my rhymes.<\/i><\/div>\n
Our hands clapping,<\/i><\/div>\n
Echoing your song.<\/i><\/div>\n
The warm, sweet milk.<\/i><\/div>\n

Holding your plump yet delicate wrists,<\/i><\/div>\n
your curled toes, chubby bottom.<\/i><\/div>\n
Intense and bright indigo eyes smile at me,<\/i><\/div>\n
recognition; your body, your love.<\/i><\/div>\n

Together we are.<\/i><\/div>\n
Together I am.<\/i><\/div>\n
I will grow because of you and you will become a woman with me.<\/i><\/div>\n
