Though, you&#8217;ll most likely need to remind your youngest and most boisterous, not to actually walk on the gravestones and to be respectful as the stones represent someone who once lived, like you and I.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/mixhart.ca\/blog\/?attachment_id=2147\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2147\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2147 aligncenter\" alt=\"IMG_6055\" src=\"http:\/\/mixhart.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/IMG_6055-1024x682.jpg\" width=\"534\" height=\"354\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<div>\n<dl>\n<dd>Recently, I took a few of my children (and niece) to walk amongst the graves in a most beautiful mountain top graveyard in Nelson, BC. It is hard to tell that the graveyard is actually on a mountain top as there are many even taller\u00a0mountains surrounding it&#8211;but believe me, it is (we climbed vertical roads to get up there). As it was on a mountain top, and it was a late, almost-early spring afternoon&#8211;we felt the cool mountain air!<\/dd>\n<dd><\/dd>\n<dd>As we approached the graveyard, I discovered that my youngest two were excited because they thought they were going find some zombies to try and awaken&#8211;I had to rein them in on those ideas.<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/mixhart.ca\/blog\/?attachment_id=2148\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2148\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2148 aligncenter\" alt=\"IMG_6058\" src=\"http:\/\/mixhart.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/IMG_6058-1024x755.jpg\" width=\"534\" height=\"394\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.mixhart.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/IMG_6058-1024x755.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blog.mixhart.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/IMG_6058-300x221.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 534px) 100vw, 534px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Explore the graveyard and take time to wander the paths and read some of the oldest gravestones. Who were these people?
