Nordic skiing at Silver Star was amazing. It was a warm day with bright sun. At first, skiing down small hills felt very strange–not having my boots secured onto the ski (like alpine skiing) was unnerving. But once I got used to it, everything got easier. Nordic is a lot of work–a really good cardio workout compared to alpine. We skied for 2 hours, then had a lunch break and skied for another hour. The trails were private, in deep forest at a high altitude with beautiful mountain vistas. Miranda and I had a great day.\u00a0<\/div>\n
