All systems go. Paper finished and bags packed. Purchased a bright orange Tommy H. suitcase. I love orange. We leave tomorrow morning at 4:30 AM for the airport.
I have been a lazy blogger this past week or so. I hope to become inspired again in Hawaii.
Went to the gym this morning. The truth is, that although I was obsessed with working out excessively, I realize that I am still working out the same amount. The difference is this: I am now present in the moment while I exercise. I simply enjoy what I am doing while I am doing it. Before, there was a voice inside my head that continuously said, “Need to workout harder, faster, longer.” So silencing the inner nag is all that is necessary to start enjoying my workouts as they are now.
Peter and I went to “The Road” last week. Man, that is the DARKEST movie you’ll see. Dark but good. The upside is a nice view of Viggo Mortensen’s bare bum. The down side is that he is so thin in the movie, I really didn’t appreciate his naked, bony bottom.
Also, rented “The boys are Back”–gotta love Clive Owen. I loved his Australian farm house. I REALLY want to live on an acreage in Australia for a year or so.
My darling Pip fell off a swing at the park while Tabs was pushing her but baby skin is amazing and she is healing nicely.
Mist is on her way to Hawaii today with my sister Theresa’s family. In prep for spring break, Mist and friends celebrated on Friday night. They went out for Japanese food and then to “Alice in Wonderland.”
Tabs and Pip are so excited about Hawaii. Pip keeps asking all day long, “When we go to Kona Mom?” My darling also said they other day, “I so excited and happy!” I asked “why?” she said, “I so excited because I growing up like you Mom!”
Tabs invented her own quiz and posted in on facebook all by herself. She said to me, “I was determined to do it because if Kyran (Tabs’ 16 year old cousin) figured it out, so can I.” It is another adorable quiz: what type of shoe are you?
