Enjoy this delectable sauce on the finest quality vanilla ice cream or by the spoonful!<span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong> WARNING:<\/strong> It&#8217;s addictive.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong>1 1\/2 cups of brown sugar<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4><strong>3\/4 cup butter<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4><strong>3\/4 cup cream<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4><strong>4 Tablespoons of rum<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4><strong>1 cup toasted pecan halves.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong><em>Toast pecan halves on a baking sheet in the oven under the broiler (on middle rack). Stir often, watching continually and removing the pecans as soon as they are lightly browned. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Stir butter and sugar over medium heat until smooth. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Add cream and rum\u2014simmer and stir over low heat until blended (5 minutes).<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Add toasted pecans and stir.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Serve warm or cooled over ice cream <em>YUM<\/em>!
