I recently discovered d\u014dTERRA essential oils and have had the exciting opportunity to try out a variety of their exquisite oils.<\/p>\n

\u00a0d\u014dTERRA CPTG Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade\u00ae essential oils can be used safely by your entire family for a variety of health and wellness applications<\/strong>.\u00a0I find d\u014dTERRA oils to be of high quality\u2014non-irritating, and the scents true and pure.<\/strong> I’ve tried many different brands of essential oils and some aromas\u00a0can be overpowering; however, I genuinely find d\u014dTERRA\u00a0oils to be perfectly balanced\u2014they smell like the real plant, light and heavenly.<\/p>\n

Yesterday morning I ran 10km through the forest in the rain. The forest was filled with cedar and fir trees. I was so cold on my return home (I was thoroughly soaked) that I drew a hot bath and added several drops of cedar and white fir essential oils to the water. It was as though I was still in the forest, only this time sitting in a hot spring.\u00a0I love essential oils because the aromas\u00a0transport me to wherever I want to be<\/strong>\u2014a rose garden, forest or spring meadow. A few drops of lavender in the bath is heavenly and puts my mind in the right relaxed mode before bed time. If I need to energize I\u2019ll put a few drops of peppermint in my bath. I find the aromatic oils send bouquets\u00a0to my brain to either stimulate or relax me depending on which scents\u00a0I choose. All it takes is a few drops in the bath or in a room diffuser to send blissful aromas\u00a0throughout the home or office.<\/p>\n

Recently I’ve been experimenting with essential oils on my skin to help with a variety of health issues<\/strong> (allergies, hormone fluctuations etc.).\u00a0If I\u2019m dealing with a respiratory bug or seasonal allergies, a few drops of eucalyptus oil clears my head. Often I use a variety of essential oils combined and dab the mixture everywhere I apply perfume (behind the ears, on wrists, on the\u00a0d\u00e9colletage) to balance my hormones during monthly fluctuations. However, there are safety guidelines that I follow when using essential oils. Sometimes applying the oil directly to the skin can cause irritation in sensitive individuals.<\/p>\n
