The crunch: My mom comes on Friday to help with the girls ballet finale at the theatre. Peter and I are in classes all day Saturday–so we will miss the matinee but will be home for the evening show. All this week the girls have had dance practice. Jop<\/span> arrives tonight for a stop over before he leaves to visit his bro in Toronto.\u00a0<\/div>\n
Next Tuesday we leave for a family Vancouver trip: aquarium to see the newborn baby beluga, China Town, Art gallery: Rembrandt and Vermeer\u00a0are showing. \u00a0We are lucky again–staying in an ocean view Fairmont<\/span> suite.\u00a0<\/div>\n
And then what to do for July long weekend? Peter and I have so few holidays this summer we want to make each weekend count. Theresa would like Mist to visit Kyran<\/span> for the last week in June and take Fernando too. It all depends on if we can get her there and pick her up.\u00a0<\/div>\n
Miranda and family are arriving on June 27th<\/span>\u00a0and will await the arrival of their furniture. Their new house down the street is gorgeous! They’ve put in all new flooring on all three floors. The entire house is either rectangular charcoal porcelain tile or hardwood–so ZEN.\u00a0<\/div>\n
So as it stands now: We must decide where we are camping for Canada Day weekend and when and if Mist can go to Nelson late June.<\/div>\n
And now to brag: I got an A+ on my major class paper (the children’s lit review I did with a partner). The most exciting part of the mark were his comments:<\/div>\n
“I have spent the entire morning reading, and rereading your paper, and I can truthfully say that it is one of the best mornings I have had in a long time! I found your paper engaging, informative, direct, and on-target.
