He&#8217;s written 12 novels and many other books; as well, he&#8217;s a multimedia artist. His latest exhibition <strong>Douglas Coupland: everywhere is anywhere is anything is everything is<\/strong> currently on replay at the Vancouver Art Gallery. His exhibition illuminates what he views as the 21st century condition.<\/p>\n<p><em>As I am also both artist and writer so I was intrigued by this exhibit.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/mixhart.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/P7240022.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-7210\" src=\"http:\/\/mixhart.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/P7240022.jpg\" alt=\"P7240022\" width=\"731\" height=\"371\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.mixhart.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/P7240022.jpg 640w, https:\/\/blog.mixhart.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/P7240022-300x152.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 731px) 100vw, 731px\" \/><\/a>I love Vancouver, BC. It&#8217;s a second home because I visit so often. I focused on the pile of dead bees and the treeless playground with an oil slick in the grass. I didn&#8217;t like that Coupland used real fur as well as synthetic material to construct the wigs. Perhaps he used real fur for that reason&#8211;to evoke disgust.
