Bear Creek has it all!

It’s the perfect family hike because there is a spectacular water fall, rushing creek, gorgeous wild flowers, pristine forest and magnificent views of Okanagan Lake all included in a short one hour hike. On Easter Sunday, my youngest daughters and I joined my sister’s Miranda’s family for a hike at Bear Creek. I’ve hiked with my children since they were babies. During the difficult years (when the kids felt hiking was too tiring) I often bribed them with a little picnic stop at the 1/2 way mark for a chocolate treat. It worked, and today all of my daughters enjoy hiking. I hope you enjoy a few pictures from our hike:

Our gang, climbing up stairs to reach the trail.

Pip and Artemis experimenting with a hollowed out stump.

<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class=" wp-image-8432" src="http://mixhart.ca/blog/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/IMG_1034_Fotor-755x1024.jpg" alt="Artemis and Pip.
