The Queen…<\/em><\/a> has arrived on my door step\u2014two boxes filled with my debut novel. Thank you Thistledown Press! These are the books that I purchased from my publisher to sell at events outside of bookstores such as my book launch, library, and coffee shop readings etc..<\/p>\n

It feels great to have my novel all wrapped up in a book to hold onto. I am thrilled with the cover and the font design (thank you Stephanie Strain). \u00a0I LOVE<\/strong> the little\u00a0lightening bolt icons (a nod to Ziggy Stardust)\u00a0that indicate breaks in the novel\u2014you’ll have to read the book to understand its significance.<\/p>\n

I’m excited to be shipping an order of 15 down to Nelson today to the infamous Nelson Book Club. I’m eager to meet all the attendees of this Kootenay book club that I have heard so much about! I have the honour of attending the club as a guest author on an evening that I’ll be down in Nelson At Otter Books<\/strong> for a reading\/signing (October 24).<\/p>\n

*For those of you frustrated because the book isn’t in your local book store yet, ask them to order you one in\u2014as is often the case with debut novels, the bookstore is hesitant to order in a big stash right away. Of course, you can always order online from Indigo Chapters, Amazon or Barnes and Nobel etc.<\/p>\n
