Happy 3rd Birthday Penelope Scarlett!

Baby Pip and me 2006. She was born a perfect, round baby. No wrinkly pink new born, she came out with a perfect complexion, round and so cute. She looked like a 3-4 month old instead of a new born. And so happy and calm. That’s my girl. And now my new born baby is three today! She received a princess crown and shoes, an Ariel mermaid doll and some t-shirts. I have a crazy day today, in fact, I should not be blogging. However, it is my princess’ Bday and I am addicted to writing. It is a natural passion of mine. So, what’s on the agenda?
Pip goes to daycare for a bit. I pick her up early, swing by Tabs school and pick her up, then swing by Mist’s school and pick her up. We drive to Red Robin to meet Peter for Pip’s Bday luncheon. Then, later, I get ready and meet my Friends at the Grand Hotel by 5 PM for dinner and a conference. Peter has a Senate meeting but will leave early to be home for Tabs and Pip. Mist is at a Basketball game until 6pm, she will have to miss ballet tonight.
I have a cold, caught from Pip who caught it from Tabs, who caught it from Mist. But I shall soldier on. However, no gym this AM as I have a head ache and sore throat.
Fernando is a little demon child. He attacks Pip’s feet and legs and any thing he can reach. He treats her like a puppy. It is exhausting to constantly be running over to save her and yell “OFF!”
And for my readers who were wondering why I LOVE the mountain so much, to clarify, it is because it is a very social, magical experience. From the get go, I am sitting beside strangers from all over the world–on lifts, etc. It is so fun to chat with these people and share a little bit of info. At first people seem a little shy and keep to themselves, but ask one question and soon you are chatting away. So not only do you feel like a real jock braving the snow and ice, but you have an international social experience, like no other. A mini vacation. OK, I REALLY must go…I’m still in my Jammies and so is Pip and we must be at daycare in 19 minutes!!!

I just checked with Canadapost and found Pippi’s present may not be delivered until tomorrow.

Will phone this afternoon and hope to get you depending on your busy schedule.
