Pot-Luck for Africa

Great News! Tabby is home today with “tummy” problems–aka seperation anxiety! And she just recieved a phone call fromher good friend Holly who told her Mr. R isn’t leaving after all! Another teacher is transfering so the Maternity leave teacher will go to her class instead. Mr. R is staying for the entire year. Tabs is so happy. I’ve been thinking Mr. R leaving is contributing to her refusal to go to school. I hope this changes her attitude.
Off to piano very soon. Then a potluck at Mist’s school–the social justice club is raising money to build a school in Africa. I will also order the cake tonight. I reserved a patio heater for our balcony for Sat. night. We’ll have outdoor seating with tables, candles for those guests who want to get some fresh air.
Pip is as cute as a button, Fernando is incorigable but I have no time to train him at this point, and Mist shall be arriving home from school any minute. Gotta go to piano! I made Thai peanut chicken and japanese rice for the pot luck.
