Tea Party For Tabitha

Tabi and Makaila–one of the loose lipped guests.

Tabs, Pip and I made the most delicious chocolate-pumpkin cup cakes ever today. The flavour and texture is unbeatable. And quite nutritious for chocolate cake. I got the recipe from this month’s Martha Stewart Living. Tabs stayed home today to recoup  from her nasty cold and get rested up for the party tomorrow. Although, she spent a good deal of her time organizing the house and was quite concerned about the volume of shoes in the down stairs hall closet and insisted I go through them and jettison what we don’t wear–she is an unbelievable organizer!

I ran this AM and froze my noogies off. Although by afternoon the sun had warmed the day up considerably.
Managed to get several good work hours in today. And guess what? I got an A+ on my first research paper! Very happy about that.
Took Tabs to Piano while the other gals and I had tea at Marmalade Cat. Pip slept through the entire trip. But my, she was a sleeping sight to behold in my arms at the coffee shop. Such a sweet little angel face with angelic little lips to kiss. Yes, I know it’s over the top but truly, a sleeping tot is beyond all that is wonderful.
Mist miffed that her school is now trying to sell Magazine subscriptions–this after Tabs got the mother load of subscribers in the family. At least Mist has suckered me in to ordering a bunch of little gifts from the gift section.
Tea Party tomorrow and Tot school. Unbelievable! Is it already Thursday?
I need to work Saturday. And then Sunday we drive to Kamloops. Hiking here I come.
