A busy weekend for me–trying to work most of today. Squeezed in a hike. Peter is on the phone as I type with Mist, negotiating what kids movie to bring home for “movie/pizza night.” The girls can never agree on one.
Tea party was a raging success that ended with me hauled up in my room on the computer trying to work a little while the girls sang LOUD karaoke to many songs on my Ipod rated “explicit.” But the girls all seemed to know the lyrics–whatever–no parent
complaints to date.
The good new is that I love editing. Even my research papers—all I want to do is sneak off and write. This bods well for my degree because all it is is writing research papers basically.
Tomorrow it is up early for a hike in the dark, Tabs swimming at 8:30 Am and then pack up the kids and drive to Kamloops.
As the weather is now cool in the mornings, I pulled our winter coats from the wardrobe in the furnace room. I thought it odd that Peter’s grey wool coat was covered in blue fuzz from the girls old blue fake fur coats. Only today, when I pulled out the smallest blue fuzzy coat to put on the Pip, did I realize what happened. A blasted mouse had eaten huge holes throughout both adorable blue fake fur coats! I had to throw them both out which was so disappointing since I was saving them for the Pip as she grows. Boo-hoo. Another black widow spotted near our front door. That is three in one week. The cool weather sends them scurrying inside for the winter. Pete’s just arrived home with the movies–yippee-Yahoo—gotta go…
